Scope

This standard specifies the marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and labels, packaging, storage, and transportation of disposable plastic products used in hotel rooms. This standard applies to disposable plastic products used in hotels, restaurants, guesthouses, and inns, which are mainly made from synthetic resins or/and natural materials such as starch, and are formed by thermoplastic processing methods such as injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion. These products include combs, razor handles, toothbrush handles, soap boxes, sewing kits, shower caps, containers for washing and care products (such as bottles for bathing liquid, shampoo, and moisturizing cream, etc. used to hold care liquids or solids), shoe cleaners, laundry bags, and disposable plastic packaging bags for hotel supplies. This standard does not apply to plastic shopping bags in hotel rooms.
