GB/T 1040.2-2006 Plastics—Determination of tensile properties—Part 2:Test conditions for moulding and extrusion plastics
Basic Information
Scope
1.1 This part of GB/T 1040 specifies the test conditions for determining the tensile properties of molded and extruded plastics on the basis of Part 1. 1.2 This part applies to materials in the following ranges: — Thermoplastic molded, extruded, and cast materials that are hard or semi-hard, including composite materials filled and reinforced with short fibers, fine rods, small flakes, or fine granules, except for those reinforced with textile fibers; — Thermoset molded and cast materials that are hard or semi-hard, including composite materials filled and reinforced, except for those reinforced with textile fibers; — Thermotropic liquid crystal polymers. This part does not apply to composite materials reinforced with textile fibers, hard microporous materials, or materials with microporous material sandwich structures. 1.3 The specimens used in this part can either be molded to specified dimensions or be machined, cut, or stamped from injection-molded or compression-molded parts or samples. It is recommended to prioritize the use of multi-purpose specimens (see ISO 3167:1993, Plastics - Multi-Purpose Specimens). Note: ISO 3167:1993 has been replaced by ISO 3167:2002.
