Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, factory production, packaging, transportation, and storage of synthetic fibers used in cement concrete and mortar. This standard applies to synthetic fibers with a length of less than 60mm, which are added before or during the mixing of cement concrete and mortar and can be evenly dispersed in concrete and mortar to improve the performance of freshly mixed concrete and mortar and hardened concrete and mortar. This standard does not apply to polyester fibers.
