Scope

This part of GB/T 36214 specifies a method for determining the average molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of polymers using organic eluents at temperatures between 60 °C and 180 °C and size-exclusion chromatography (SEC). The average molecular weight and molecular weight distribution are calculated based on the calibration curve established with polymer standards, making this testing method a relative method (see Appendix A and Appendix A of GB/T 36214.1—2018).
