Scope
This part of GB/T 36214 specifies a general method for determining the average molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of polymers using size-exclusion chromatography (SEC). The average molecular weight and molecular weight distribution are calculated using a correction curve. The correction curve can be obtained from one of the polymer standards described in GB/T 36214.2~GB/T 36214.4, or from the absolute molecular weight data of size-exclusion chromatography (SECLS) equipped with a light scattering detector, as described in GB/T 36214.5.
