Scope
This part of GB/T 20818 provides: the characteristics of industrial process measurement equipment (equipment type dictionary) integrated in the component data dictionary (CDD); an overview of the structure of the operation attribute list (OLOP) and device attribute list (DLOP) for measurement equipment that complies with GB/T 20818.10-2017. The overview structure of OLOP and DLOP contains the most important blocks for process measurement equipment. Blocks related to specific equipment types are described in other parts of IEC 61987 (such as IEC 6198712 for flow transmitters). Similarly, this part does not address device attributes. For example, the OLOP and DLOP for blocks and attributes used in flow transmitters are specified in IEC 6198712.
