Scope

This standard specifies the material, technical requirements, inspection, packaging, marking, transportation, and storage during the manufacturing process of transmission line towers (hereinafter referred to as "towers").
This standard is applicable to the manufacturing of angle steel towers for transmission lines. The manufacturing of power microwave towers, power communication towers, and similar steel structures can be implemented with reference to this standard.
