GB/T 4026-2025 Basic and safety principles for man-machine interface,marking and identification—Identification of equipment terminals,conductor terminations and conductors

Scope

This document applies to the identification and marking of terminals of electrical equipment such as resistors, fuses, relays, contactors, transformers, rotating equipment, and similar equipment combinations (e.g., complete sets of equipment), as well as the identification of certain specific conductor terminals. This document establishes general rules for identifying conductors with specific colors or alphanumeric symbols to avoid confusion and ensure safe operation. These conductor colors and alphanumeric symbols are applicable to core wires, busbars, electrical equipment, and cables or devices.
This document primarily sets forth basic safety requirements and is primarily intended for use by technical committees in preparing standards in accordance with the principles stipulated in IEC Guide 104 and ISO/IEC Guide 51.
This document is not applicable to manufacturers or certification bodies. One of the responsibilities of technical committees is to refer to basic safety publications when formulating standards, where applicable. Unless specifically mentioned or included, the content of this document is not applicable.
