GB/T 45159.3-2024 Mechanical vibration and shock—Characterization of the dynamic mechanical properties of visco-elastic materials—Part 3:Cantilever shear beam method
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the cantilever shear beam method for measuring the dynamic mechanical properties of elastic materials in vibration isolators in laboratories. The end fixation is used to prevent the rotation of the sample beam at the ends, thus avoiding clamping errors. This document is applicable to the measurement of impact and vibration systems in the frequency range of a few Hz to 20 kHz. This document is suitable for elastic materials commonly used in vibration isolator design to reduce: - a) the transmission of vibration and radiation noise (fluid-radiated noise, airborne noise, structure-radiated noise, etc.) from equipment, structures, or vehicles; - b) the impact of low-frequency vibration on the human body, or the damage to structures and equipment caused by severe low-frequency vibration. The measurement methods and data collection and analysis methods detailed in this document and ISO 18437-2 are used for: - the design of vibration isolators; - the selection of optimal elastic materials; - the theoretical calculation of the vibration transmission rate of vibration isolators; - the information needed for product development; - the product information provided by manufacturers and suppliers; - product quality control.
