GB/T 45159.2-2024 Mechanical vibration and shock—Characterization of the dynamic mechanical properties of visco-elastic materials—Part 2:Resonance method
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the resonance method for measuring the dynamic mechanical properties of elastic materials in vibration isolators in laboratories.
This document is applicable to measuring impact and vibration systems in the frequency range of fractions of Hz to 20 kHz.
This document is suitable for resilient materials commonly used in vibration isolator design to reduce:
a) Vibration transmission and radiated noise (fluid-radiated noise, airborne noise, structure-radiated noise, etc.) from equipment, structures, or vehicles;
b) The impact of low-frequency vibrations on the human body or structural and equipment damage caused by severe low-frequency vibrations.
The measurement methods and data collection and analysis methods detailed in this document and ISO 18437-3 are used for:
—— Vibration isolator design;
—— Selecting the optimal resilient materials;
—— Theoretical calculation of vibration transmission rates in vibration isolators;
—— Information required for product development;
—— Product information provided by manufacturers and suppliers;
—— Product quality control.
