Scope
This document establishes a testing and evaluation system for photovoltaic modules, ensuring that the power of photovoltaic modules [expressed in watts (W)] operates at maximum capacity under a series of specific conditions. It also provides a comprehensive set of characteristic parameters for photovoltaic modules under different irradiance and temperature conditions, facilitating the energy evaluation of photovoltaic modules (see IEC 61853-3).
This document is applicable to ground-mounted flat-panel modules, such as crystalline silicon modules and thin-film modules. It is also applicable to single-sided modules.
