GB/T 7354-2018 High-voltage test techniques—Partial discharge measurements
Basic Information
Scope
This standard defines the terms of partial discharge and related measured parameters, specifies the test circuits and measurement circuits used, common analog and digital measurement methods, and provides calibration methods and requirements for calibration instruments, test procedures, and criteria for distinguishing partial discharge from external interference.
This standard applies to partial discharge measurements generated by electrical equipment, components, or systems during AC voltage tests at frequencies of 400 Hz and below, or DC voltage tests.
The provisions of this standard can be used to draft technical specifications for partial discharge measurements of specific electrical equipment. This standard primarily involves electrical measurements of pulsed (short-duration) partial discharges, and also provides non-electrical measurement methods primarily used for partial discharge localization (see Appendix G).
The diagnosis of the characteristics of specific power equipment can be completed through the digital processing of partial discharge signals (see Appendix F) and non-electrical measurement methods primarily used for partial discharge localization (see Appendix G).
This standard primarily describes electrical measurement methods for partial discharge during AC voltage tests, and also mentions special issues that arise during DC voltage tests (see Chapter 4).
The terms, definitions, basic test circuits, and procedures in this standard are generally also applicable to tests conducted at other frequencies, but may require special test methods and measurement system characteristics, which are not considered in this standard.
Appendix B provides requirements for performance tests of calibrators as a requirement.
