Scope

This document specifies the general requirements for intelligent operation and maintenance of relay protection, the functional requirements of the technical support system for relay protection design digitalization, commissioning and acceptance, operation and maintenance, decommissioning, and other business and technical support systems, as well as the technical requirements of intelligent operation and maintenance for relay protection equipment. This document applies to all types of protection devices, merging units, intelligent terminals, comprehensive recording and intelligent operation and maintenance devices for relay protection, process layer switches, and other equipment of power plants with voltages of 35kV and above, as well as their secondary circuits. It also applies to the design, manufacture, construction, modification, acceptance, operation, and maintenance of intelligent operation and maintenance technical support systems. Safety automatic devices can be implemented in accordance with this document.
