Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for rare earth yellow phosphors (referred to as yellow phosphors) used in white LED lamps.
This standard applies to phosphors obtained by high-temperature reactions and related systems. When excited by blue light at a wavelength of 440 nm to 480 nm, these phosphors emit yellow light. The yellow light combines with the excitation source's blue light to form white light, which is mainly used in white LED lamps excited by blue LED chips.
