Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificates for garnet-structured aluminates series phosphors used in white LEDs.
This standard applies to garnet-structured aluminates rare earth phosphors obtained by high-temperature solid-phase reaction, co-precipitation method, or liquid-phase methods such as combustion. These phosphors emit yellow, yellow-green, or green light when excited by light sources with wavelengths of 415 nm to 470 nm. This light combines with red light and the excitation source's blue light to form white light, which is mainly used to prepare white LED lighting devices excited by blue LED chips.
