Scope
This document specifies a method for directly and absolutely measuring the average high voltage of the secondary side of the high-voltage generator in X-ray systems, and establishes the relationship between the high-voltage output and the tube voltage displayed on the control unit of the X-ray system.
This document is applicable to ensuring the reproducibility of X-ray systems. The tube voltage affects the penetration performance of materials and the contrast of X-ray images, and also impacts the requirements related to radiation protection.
