Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers.
This standard applies to ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers with a linear density range of 55 dtex to 6,650 dtex. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers with a linear density lower than 55 dtex or higher than 6,650 dtex can be used as reference for application.
