Scope

This standard specifies the method outline, test preparation, test procedure, quality control, data and reporting for improving the inherent biodegradability of chemicals. This standard is applicable to testing the inherent biodegradability of non-volatile chemicals that do not inhibit microorganisms and do not react with CO2 adsorbents under the test concentration.
