Scope
This part of GB/T 23561 specifies the terms and definitions involved in the determination of shear strength of coal and rocks, the determination of shear strength of standard specimens, the determination of shear strength of non-standard specimens, and the determination of double-sided shear strength.
This part is applicable to the determination of shear strength of coal and rocks. Among them, the determination of shear strength of standard specimens is applicable to coal and rocks that can be processed into standard specimens; the determination of shear strength of non-standard specimens is applicable to soft coal and rocks that cannot be processed into standard specimens; and the determination of double-sided shear strength is applicable to the determination of shear strength of coal and rocks only.
