Scope

This part of GB/T 23561 specifies the terms and definitions, instruments and equipment, specimens specifications, measurement steps, and data calculation involved in the determination of rock expansion stress.
This part is applicable to the determination of lateral restraint expansion stress of rocks. The equilibrium pressurization method is suitable for the determination of expansion stress of the surrounding rock under the condition of lining, and the pressure recovery method is suitable for the determination of expansion stress of the bottom heave of mine roadways.
