Scope
This standard specifies the determination method of titanium dioxide in food. This standard is applicable to the detection of titanium dioxide in foods such as flour, candy coatings, dried fruits, jelly, puffed foods, fried foods, non-carbonated beverage turbidity agents, solid beverages, and chewing gum. The detection limits of this standard are as follows: inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry is 1 mg/kg, and the 2-amino-3-methylphenazine methane colorimetry is 5 mg/kg.
