Scope
This standard specifies the determination methods for the total content of toluene-2,6-diisocyanate, diphenylmethane-4,4′-diisocyanate, toluene-2,4-diisocyanate, naphthalene-1,5-diisocyanate, phenyl isocyanate, hexamethylene diisocyanate, cyclohexyl isocyanate, and the total amount of the above seven isocyanates in plastics and plastic products used in food contact applications.
This standard is applicable to the detection of toluene-2,6-diisocyanate, diphenylmethane-4,4′-diisocyanate, toluene-2,4-diisocyanate, naphthalene-1,5-diisocyanate, phenyl isocyanate, hexamethylene diisocyanate, cyclohexyl isocyanate, and the total amount of the above seven isocyanates in polyurethane plastics and plastic products used in food contact applications.
