Scope

This part specifies the mechanical dimensions and electroacoustic characteristics of condenser microphones used as laboratory standards, enabling the measurement of sound pressure and achieving the highest measurement accuracy for sound pressure. This specification ensures simple and easy primary calibration using the reciprocity method.
