Scope

This part of GB/T 20441 specifies the primary method for determining the sensitivity in free-field conditions, in order to establish a basis for reproducible and accurate sound pressure measurements under free-field conditions.
This part is applicable to laboratory standard microphones that meet the requirements of GB/T 20441.1. The principle of the calibration method is applicable to other types of microphones. In particular, when a specified adapter is installed, microphones that meet the requirements of GB/T 20441.1 can remove the adapter and be calibrated in accordance with this part.
This part is suitable for highly experienced technicians and laboratories with special requirements.
