Scope
This standard specifies the terms, requirements, safety guarantees, test methods, inspection rules, markings, labels, user manuals, and painting, packaging, and storage for bridge and gantry cranes and hoisting trolleys (hereinafter referred to as "trolleys"). This standard applies to hook-type bridge and gantry cranes and hoisting trolleys. It does not apply to trolleys used for lifting molten metals, insulated types, and explosion-proof bridge and gantry cranes.
