Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical and testing requirements for low-voltage complete reactive power compensation devices. This standard applies to low-voltage complete reactive power compensation devices (hereinafter referred to as devices) with a rated AC voltage not exceeding 1,000 V (or 1,140 V) and a frequency not exceeding 1,000 Hz.
