Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and safety of trans-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene for industrial use [HFO-1234ze(E), also known as R1234ze(E)].
This standard applies to trans-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene [HFO-1234ze(E)] obtained by refining under the action of a catalyst and hydrogen fluoride anhydride using raw materials such as tetrachloropropene and pentafluoropropane, mainly used as a single refrigerant or a mixed refrigerant to replace tetrafluoroethane (HFC-134a).
