Scope

This part of GB/T 30267 defines the application programming interface (API) and service provider interface (SPI) for standard interfaces in biometric identification systems. Biometric identification systems support components from multiple suppliers, and by complying with this part and other national standards, they enable interaction between components.
When using a system that does not include the BioAPI framework (referred to as a framework-free BioAPI system), only the SPI interface is applicable. Applications connect to it directly in a platform-specific manner.
