Scope
This standard specifies the test methods for the density, tensile strength, compression rate, rebound rate, creep relaxation rate, residual stress, softness, fluid resistance, air tightness, gas permeability, and oil sealing of non-asbestos fiber reinforced rubber sheets (hereinafter referred to as rubber sheets) used in marine gaskets. This standard is applicable to the performance testing of non-asbestos fiber reinforced rubber sheets used in marine gaskets.
