Scope
This standard specifies the classification, structural types, and main dimensions of manual hinge-type pressure-resistant watertight doors (referred to as watertight doors), as well as their markings, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labels, packaging, and transportation. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of watertight doors used on marine engineering projects and special ships, as well as on the entrance and exit sections of watertight bulkheads, where the working pressure does not exceed 0.5 MPa.
