Scope
This standard specifies the structural elements, dimensional marking, and measurement of cold precision forged straight bevel gears (hereinafter referred to as "cold forged parts"). Based on the characteristics of the cold precision forging process, it proposes an optimized structural form for cold precision forged straight bevel gears.
This standard applies to forged parts of straight bevel gears whose tooth parts are finally formed by the precision cold forging process on a press, with a module of the large end end face ≤10 and a tooth part diameter ≤180 mm.
