This standard specifies the basic steps for ultrasonic testing of the inner surface of cylindrical forgings.
This standard is applicable to manual testing methods, but it does not restrict the use of other testing methods, such as mechanized or automated testing methods.
This standard is applicable to cylindrical forgings with an inner diameter of ≥63.5 mm.
