Scope
This standard specifies the metallographic structure rating diagram (hereinafter referred to as the rating diagram) and the evaluation method for steel forging parts. This standard applies to structural steel forging parts that have undergone quenching and tempering treatment, normalizing treatment, isothermal normalizing treatment, and post-forging cooling treatment. This standard does not apply to the evaluation of forging parts with decarburization, overheating, or overburning structures.
