Scope

This part of GB/T 30790 discusses the surfaces and surface treatments of the following types of carbon steel or low-alloy steel:
——Uncoated surfaces;
——Hot-sprayed zinc, aluminum, or their alloy surfaces;
——Hot-dip galvanized surfaces;
——Electro-galvanized surfaces;
——Powder-galvanized surfaces;
——Surfaces coated with pre-coat primer;
——Other painted surfaces.
This part defines many surface treatment grades, but does not specify the requirements for the condition of the substrate before surface treatment.
This part does not include high-polished surfaces and work-hardened surfaces.
