Scope

This standard specifies the quality testing methods for borate non-linear optical single crystal components, including low-temperature phase-shifted barium borate (β-BaB2O4, referred to as BBO) and lithium triborate (LiB3O5, referred to as LBO). This standard applies to BBO and LBO single crystal components. Other borate non-linear optical single crystal components that meet the requirements of this standard may also be used as a reference.
