Scope
This part of GB 30439 specifies the safety requirements for solenoid valves, including protection against electric shock, mechanical hazards, the prevention of flames spreading from the equipment to the outside, protection against excessive temperatures, and protection against the effects of fluids and fluid pressure.
This part does not include the functions, performance, or other characteristics of solenoid valves that are not related to safety, the effectiveness of transport packaging, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements, functional safety, protective measures against explosive environments, or maintenance (repair) and the protection of maintenance (repair) personnel.
This part applies to solenoid valves that use clean liquids, gases, or steam as working media and perform opening and closing control functions in pipelines.
