Scope

This part of GB/T 10067 specifies the general technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and ordering and supply for various hood-type resistance furnaces (hereinafter referred to as "hood-type furnaces").
This part is applicable to hood-type resistance furnaces designed in accordance with the requirements of Clauses 4.1, 5.1, and 5.2. They are mainly used for heat-treatment processes such as normalizing and annealing of steel and cast iron materials in a natural atmosphere, as well as annealing of steel or copper-based alloy coil and wire materials in a protective atmosphere.
This part is also applicable to similar hood-type resistance furnaces. Different parts may have separate specifications.
