Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of the measurement method of noise sound power level for casting machinery, the quantities to be measured and the measurement uncertainty, measurement requirements, measurement methods, calculation of noise sound power level, and recording and reporting. This standard applies to casting machinery with radiated steady-state noise and radiated non-steady-state noise. This standard does not apply to casting machinery with radiated pulse noise. Note: For the classification of noise characteristics (steady-state, non-steady-state, pulse, etc.), please refer to GB/T 14259; for the determination in the test, please refer to Appendix A.
