Scope
This document specifies the general technical requirements for maternity and baby room accessories (including appearance, physical and chemical properties, structural performance, flammability, chemical substance content, hygiene performance, electrical performance, and radiation performance), as well as specific product requirements. It describes the test methods related to the general technical requirements and specific product requirements for maternity and baby room accessories, and provides product identification, usage, and maintenance instructions for maternity and baby room accessories.
This document is applicable to maternity and baby rooms in public places, which are specifically designed for women to breastfeed babies, change diapers or clothes for infants and young children, and are frequently used by mothers and babies, such as diaper changing tables, child safety seats, and breastfeeding chairs.
Note: In addition to maternity and baby rooms, diaper changing tables, child safety seats, and breastfeeding chairs used in other places are also applicable to this document.
