Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, testing methods, inspection classification rules, and all technical characteristics such as marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for artificial fur garments.
This standard applies to artificial fur garments made primarily from chemical fibers, using long-haired imitation fur fabrics as the main fabric. Other artificial fur garments can be implemented in accordance with this standard.
This standard does not apply to infant and toddler clothing for children aged 36 months and below.
