Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of bathroom electric heaters.
This standard applies to non-heat storage indoor heaters fixedly installed in bathrooms. The rated voltage of single-phase appliances shall not exceed 250 V; the rated voltage of other appliances shall not exceed 480 V.

——Ceiling-mounted fan-type bathroom electric heaters;
——Ceiling-mounted radiant and fan-type combined bathroom electric heaters;
——Wall-mounted radiant bathroom electric heaters;
——Wall-mounted fan-type bathroom electric heaters;
——Wall-mounted radiant and fan-type combined bathroom electric heaters.
This standard does not apply to portable indoor heaters that can be used in rooms as well as in bathrooms, such as electric oil heaters.
For natural convection bathroom electric heaters, bathroom electric heaters with thin-layer flexible heating elements as heat sources, and bathroom electric heaters with low-temperature large-area radiant heating elements as heat sources, the relevant requirements and test methods are under consideration.
