Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for rear fog lamps used on motor vehicles and trailers.
This standard applies to various types of rear fog lamps used on L3, L4, L5, L7, M, N motor vehicles and O-class trailers.
In this standard, rear fog lamps used on motor vehicles and trailers are referred to as "rear fog lamps".
L7 refers to four-wheeled motorcycles.
