Scope
This part of GB/T 2952 specifies the models, names, structures, dimensions, and technical requirements of the general outer sheaths for non-metallic sheathed cables.
This part applies to the outer sheaths of cables with non-metallic sheaths used for fixed installation, such as power, communication, signal, and control cables. The non-metallic sheaths can be extruded, such as plastic sheaths, or wrapped.
This part does not apply to the outer sheaths of cables with other special requirements.
