Scope

This standard specifies the structural types, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of iron and copper threaded connection elastic sealing gate valves (hereinafter referred to as threaded soft gate valves). This standard applies to: - Forgable cast iron threaded soft gate valves with a nominal pressure not exceeding PN16 and a nominal size not exceeding DN100; - Nodular cast iron threaded soft gate valves with a nominal pressure not exceeding PN25 and a nominal size not exceeding DN100; - Copper alloy threaded soft gate valves with a nominal pressure not exceeding PN40 and a nominal size not exceeding DN100; - Working media include water, non-corrosive liquids, and air, with a working media temperature ranging between 0°C and 80°C.
