Scope
This standard specifies the structural types, technical requirements, materials, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage and transportation of steel wedge gate valves and parallel double gate valves with bolt-connected valve covers.
This standard applies to nominal pressures of PN16 to PN420, nominal sizes of DN25 to DN600, operating temperatures of -29℃ to 538℃, steel wedge gate valves and double gate valves with bolt-connected valve covers and lifting rods, and end connections in the form of flanges or welded ends, used for gate valves of petroleum, petroleum-related products, natural gas, and other media.
This standard also applies to gate valves with end connections in the form of threads or clamp connections.
