Scope
This document stipulates the basic requirements for the preservation of pathogenic microorganisms and samples infected by humans, as well as the general requirements for preservation information and preservation conditions.
This document is applicable to all levels of preservation centers for pathogenic microorganisms (toxins) transmitted among humans, preservation professional laboratories, and other preservation institutions. It also applies to institutions that preserve, store, and use pathogenic microorganisms and samples to standardize the internal preservation/storage of pathogenic microorganisms and samples. Additionally, it is applicable to relevant regulatory authorities in evaluating the ability of these institutions to preserve/store pathogenic microorganisms and samples.
