Scope
This standard specifies the techniques for cultivating detoxified tissue-cultured seedlings and nutrient bag seedlings during the production of detoxified banana seedlings, as well as the technical requirements for virus detection and the detection of mutant strains. This standard applies to the production of detoxified banana seedlings that are free from the Banana Mosaic Virus (CMV) and Bunch Top Virus (BBTV) viruses, cultivated through tissue culture techniques.
