Scope
This standard specifies the method outline, reagents, instruments, analysis steps, calculation of analysis results, and allowable deviations for determining the content of potassium oxide and sodium oxide using flame atomic absorption spectrometry.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of potassium oxide and sodium oxide in continuous casting protective slag, with a measurement range of 0.04% to 4.00% (mass fraction) for potassium oxide and 0.02% to 15.00% (mass fraction) for sodium oxide.
