Scope

This document specifies the basic methods and technical requirements for the regular inspection and evaluation of compressed natural gas cylinders for automobiles (hereinafter referred to as "cylinders").
This document is applicable to seamless, rechargeable steel cylinders with a nominal working pressure of 20 MPa and 25 MPa, a nominal volume of 30 L to 300 L, a filling medium that complies with GB 18047 for automotive compressed natural gas, and an operating temperature of -40 ℃ to 65 ℃, which are fixed on automobiles and used as fuel tanks.
