Scope

This standard specifies the classification of heat treatment furnaces by temperature uniformity, the implementation conditions and measurement cycles, testing devices, testing methods, the evaluation of effective heating zones, testing reports, and management.
This standard is applicable to the evaluation of effective heating zones in heat treatment furnaces that meet the heating temperature and temperature uniformity requirements of the heat treatment process. It is not applicable to heating zones in continuous heating furnaces that do not have fixed process requirements for heating temperature or do not require temperature uniformity.
